In living rooms the lighting must adapt to suit different moods or functions. Successful lighting will require general, task and feature lighting working together in harmony.
A single pendant may create the feature light over the table. General lighting using ceiling or wall lights can be incorporated into the design.
In a contemporary home downlights can achieve the general lighting using a crisp white light.
